Jewelry Care

Jewelry care may be required depending on your piece. Sterling Silver and Tarnished Copper will need to be polished with time. I recommend polishing cloths (“Sunshine Cloths”) or liquid jewelry cleaner (“Connoisseurs”).

I do not recommend reoccurring wear of copper (tarnished, natural, silver or gold plated) jewelry in the shower or pools of water. After time water can wear down metals and cause them to weaken, rust, or break. Metals that can handle water better are Sterling Silver or Gold. If you do not like the look of antiquing jewelry or are unable to polish your Sterling Silver jewelry, I recommend to not wear them in water.

To store your Sterling Silver, Gold or Plated jewelry, I recommend storing them in closed, air-tight storage boxes. If Sterling Silver is in direct sunlight or left in a dusty place, tarnishing may occur.

It is also recommended to avoid chemicals, sunscreens, or working out with jewelry. So do so at risk!
